The satisfaction of dinner was topped off with divine desserts, starting with Lemon-Curd Cups. These tiny pastries are a dessert lovers delight – they are sweetened pastry dough cups filled with a lemon custard and topped with fresh berries for the perfect amount of sweetness and variety in each little bite.
Following a similar aesthetic, we had crunchy puff pastry cups filled with chocolate and coffee ganache and topped with a dollop of whip cream. These bites were much more intense than the it’s fruit-custard companion and equally as satisfying.
The trio was complete with Magic Bars – a satiating bar of coconut, caramel, nuts, and peanut butter chips all on graham cracker crust. These bars aren’t done any justice with words or images, hence their name.
Finally, the party planner pieced together a grand candy bar with various sweets in different sized jars, all color coordinated with the event but still yummy. It was orchestrated beautifully and a real hit with the younger crowd, leaving many of the berry tarts, chocolate ganache, and magic bars for the adults.
