Ingredients

  • Unsweetened Chocolate. 12 oz
  • Unsalted Butter. 1# 2oz
  • Eggs. 15oz. (7-8 eggs)
  • Sugar. 2# 4oz
  • Vanilla. 1/2 oz
  • Flour. 12oz
  • Pecans. 9oz (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a half sheet pan and set aside
  2. Melt chocolate and butter over water bath.
  3. Beat eggs, vanilla and sugar until lemon-colored.
  4. Add chocolate mixture to egg mixture, tempering the eggs first.
  5. Fold in flour.
  6. Fold in pecans, leave some to sprinkle on top.
  7. Bake at 350 degree oven until firm to touch on top. (about 40 minutes)
